Lightweight Interior Templates
Some Shoreline Model Raceways Club classes allow the stock interior to be replaced with a lightweight version (make sure to check the rules first). While lightweight interiors are available commercially, they can also be easily made using common materials such as paper, overhead transparencies (available at office supply stores) or thin plastic sheeting. The templates below can be printed on paper and used "as-is" or transferred to other materials as desired. Some class rules require a "driver" - if so, you can easily add one before installing the lightweight interior.  More templates are planned for the future so check back from time-to-time.

Note: Most printers will automatically adjust ("scale") the material to be printed to fit within the default printer page margins. The templates must be printed full-size (no scaling) to fit properly. To override default printer scaling, select "Printer Setup" from the "File" menu. The setting to be changed will vary by printer but will typically be something like "Fit to Printer Margin" or "Reduce to Printer Margins". If so, there should be an option to turn it off or adjust it.

Templates (Without Drivers)
Note:  These templates should be printed on 8-1/2" x 11" paper

Note:  These templates should be printed on 3"x5" or 4"x6" plain white index cards.  They can also be printed on standard 8-1/2" x 11" paper (you'll just waste a lot of paper...).

Tip: After printing the desired template(s) but before cutting them out, take a piece of 2"-3" wide clear packing tape and place it over the template. This will make the template more durable without adding any appreciable weight.
