Race Events
New England Challenge (NEC)
NEC events are inter-club events held twice each year - typically in the Spring and Fall. The venue for these events rotates between participating clubs and track-to-track within the club hosting the event. As participation in these events has grown, recent events have used a 2 track format to provide more track time to racers. Each event contests 2 classes of cars (selected by the hosting club). While NEC events are competitive, these events place a great deal of emphasis on having fun and promoting the hobby of slot car racing.
